Who builds Caprastacks
Caprastacks is a software company in Lahore, Pakistan. It makes one product — Caprastacks ERP, double-entry accounting and inventory software for businesses that keep more than one set of books.
Osama Saeed
Osama Saeed designs and builds Caprastacks ERP: the double-entry engine underneath it, every screen on top of it, and the accounting rules in between. Questions about how the software posts, costs or reports something reach the person who wrote that part of it.

How big is the team?
One person, full time. That is why support answers get straight to somebody who knows the code, and why the roadmap moves in order rather than everywhere at once.
Where does my data live?
On a dedicated server in Frankfurt, Germany, run on Akamai Cloud (Linode) — inside the European Economic Area, and well placed for customers across Pakistan, the Gulf and Europe. Every company's books are kept separate: which company you are reading is resolved from your signed-in session and never from anything in the address bar, and every row in the database is tied to its own company by a foreign key.
What if I want to leave?
Your books are yours. Every voucher list and report exports to PDF and Excel from the screen it sits on, and the account owner can export a company's whole dataset from Backups & data at any time, on any plan — including a lapsed one.
Is the accounting actually double-entry?
Yes, and not as a label. Every voucher writes balanced debit and credit rows into one ledger inside a single database transaction, and every balance and report is summed from those rows rather than stored. A posted voucher is never edited — corrections reverse and re-post, so the trail survives.

The fastest route to an answer is the chat in the corner of any page — it reaches the same person, and you do not need an account to use it.
