How do I add a customer or a supplier?
Chart of accounts → New account → Type: Party, then say whether they are a customer, a supplier or both.
Customers and suppliers — clients and vendors, if that is what you call them — are accounts here, which is what lets every invoice, payment and statement line up against the same name.
1. Open Chart of accounts and choose New account.
2. Give it the name you know them by, and a code if you use codes.
3. Set Type to Party.
4. A "Party is a…" box appears — choose Customer, Supplier, or Both for someone you buy from and sell to.
5. Save.
They are now available on invoices, bills, payments and the account statement.
The type locks once the account has transactions, because changing it would change what every past entry meant. Everything else — the name, the contact details — you can edit whenever you like.
Still not sure? Ask it in the chat in the corner — no account needed, and a person answers whatever the assistant can't.
How do I enter my opening balances?
Opening balances carry your existing books into the app. Enter them once, before day-to-day work.
What is the chart of accounts and which account should I use?
It is the list of buckets your money is sorted into: assets, liabilities, income, expenses, equity.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes — sign up, create your company, and start the free trial from the pricing page.
How do I add another company?
Create it from the companies list — each company keeps its own separate books.
