Why is one of my companies locked?
You can create any number of companies, but only as many as your plan allows can be active at once.
Creating a company is free. Using one needs a plan slot.
If you have more companies than your plan has slots, you choose which ones are active. The rest stay safely stored and locked until you either switch one out or move to a plan with more slots. Nothing is deleted.

What does my plan include, and how do I upgrade?
Your plan sets how many companies can be active and how many people can use them.

How do I add a customer or a supplier?
Chart of accounts → New account → Type: Party, then say whether they are a customer, a supplier or both.
How do I add another company?
Create it from the companies list — each company keeps its own separate books.
