Who does what (0:00) In this video, the lab tests your deliveries. Nothing you bought can be used until the lab says it's good. Three people share the work. Hamid, from the lab, takes a sample and tests it. Faisal, a second lab person, checks every result. And Usman, the head of quality, decides. The person who decides should not have tested or checked it himself.
Lots to test (0:26) Open Manufacturing, then Quality. Lots to test shows every delivery waiting for the lab. Open RM-0001, the paracetamol. Its page shows six steps, from received to released, and the one thing to do next.
The supplier's certificate (0:44) First, the supplier's certificate: their own test report, sent with the delivery. Press Attach certificate, choose the PDF, and press Attach certificate. Without it, the app asks for a reason before you sample or release.
Take a sample (1:02) Now press Take a sample. A test sample is used up by the lab's tests. A kept sample is sealed and stored until after expiry, in case you need it later. Type how much you took: 10 grams. The app takes it off the lot's stock. Add the sampling plan and where it was taken, and press Take sample. The lot moves from quarantine to under test.
Record the results (1:28) Now Hamid records each test. For Appearance, he writes what he saw, and picks Conforms. For Identification, he picks Conforms too. For Assay, he types the number: 99.6 percent. The bar shows it's inside the pass mark, 99 to 101. He attaches the machine's printout as raw data. Then Water content: 0.2 percent, under the limit of 0.5.
A second person checks (1:59) Each result now waits for a second person. Faisal opens each one, looks at what was found and the raw data, and presses Confirm result. If something is wrong, like a typing mistake, he presses Reject and writes why. The wrong result stays in the history, crossed out.
Quality decides (2:19) When every result is checked, the lot is ready for a decision. Now Usman, the head of quality, presses Decide on this lot. He sees what the decision rests on: every test passed and checked, and no problems open. Release means it's ready to use. Hold keeps it aside while something is checked. Reject means it's not to be used. Hold and reject need a reason. He picks Release, and presses Sign as released.
If a test fails (2:50) What if a test fails? The result is kept as it is, and an investigation opens by itself. You can't just test again until it passes. The other deliveries go the same way. The helper powders need two tests, and the packing two simple checks. Now all ten are released, and ready to weigh. In the next video, we open your first batch.
